Hodinoshioni History, (People of the Longhouse)
is about us, ’the People of the Longhouse, Hodinoshioni, aka Seneca. We are the western most Nation of the original Six Nations Iroquois confederacy, now the Six Nations. Haudenosaunee History is about our history of fighting for our freedoms from before contact and including fighting to protect ourselves from migrant colonization of our lands, rights, and freedom. When colonized, we lost or freedom in the land of the free, how does that happen in the land of the free when the land was ous. We were forced to give up our land with a threat to our livelihood and freedom in the land of the free. Who's Freedom? Not ours!?
